Zesde editie Bluesfestival in Glazuur te Glabbeek
Hageland Blues staat nu al reeds bekend als dé opener van het Belgische bluesfestival-seizoen en wordt ook geroemd om zijn kleinschaligheid. Hier vind je de sfeer van de bruine kroeg nog terug.
De 6de editie zal plaats vinden op zaterdag 26 maart 2022 Hageland Blues in de Zaal Glazuur te Glabbeek.
PROGRAMMA
ONE TIME BLUES BAND (B)
Show: 17:30 - 18:30
The One Time Blues Band has a pleasant and amusing interaction between
male and female vocalists. The band is telling stories in Chicago Blues style,
blues combined with less obvious songs and own and original songs. The
music they play is lively, up-tempo, full of energy and danceable.
JP’S EPIPHANIES (B)
Show: 18:50 - 19:50
Is een avontuurlijk op blues&roots gebaseerd muziek project. In deze groep
spelen een paar gitaarslingers en zangers mee die welgekend zijn in de
Belgische muziek scene : Luk de Graaff (Arno, BJ Scott, Neeka, Big Bill ...),
Alain Luie (Djempi&Bontempi, Les Talons Gitans), die hard drummer Toon
Derison (El Fish, Les Generals jack ...), en ik zelf Claes (Pirre) Jean-Pierre
(Rusty don, Mardi Gras, Waking up Dolores). Wat je kan verwachten is "some
hypnotic footstomping roots&blues music, vermengd met een snuifje desert blues & rock.
THE BLUE CHEVYS (B)
Show: 20:20 - 21:30
1989: at a local high-school in Haacht, Belgium – about 20 miles north-east
of Brussels – brothers Frederic & Philippe Martello team up with Kris Bries
to kick-start The Blue Chevy’s. As reflected in the name of the band, it
shows their initial fondness for vintage rock & roll and neo-rockabilly. Whilst
other members join and leave, it’s clear that the sound and direction of the
band is defined by the Martello-Bries trio. They quickly get some local
recognition from local venues and start building up their live repertoire.
ARCHIE LEE HOOKER & THE COAST TO COAST BLUES BAND (USA / F)

“How could you put feeling into a song if you didn’t experience it for
yourself?”- Archie.
Built on a foundation of authenticity, passion and innovation, Archie Lee
Hooker & The Coast to Coast Blues Band is a spearheading group that has
established itself in the world of music. Formed by Archie Lee Hooker, the
nephew of John Lee Hooker, Archie and his leading hand-picked team are
highly recognised for creating compelling, soul-enriching productions that
leave their audiences wanting more.
WILK (B)
Show: 23:45 - End
Wilk is Blues. Wilk is en Rock en Psychedelica. Wilk is Groove. Wilk laat zien
dat Gent, Vlaanderen en België roots in hun aderen, hun hart en ziel laten
stromen. Ow Yeah!
De frontman van Wilk heeft er best een mooi parcours op zitten.
Hij staat al jaren op het podium als medeplichtige van menig artiest.
Hij schitterde als muzikant bij oa Shocking Blue, The Incredible Time
MachineXansation, Lauren Hoffman, ... Nu is de tijd aangebroken om zijn
eigen verhaal te vertellen. In zijn debuutalbum gaat Jorg op zoek naar zijn
roots en vertaalt hij zijn leefwereld, herinneringen, toekomstbeelden in
sound en riffs die blijven nazinderen.
